Newport Music and Theatre School is a community based performing arts school in Bettws, Newport. We aim to encourage students to thrive at musical theatre, drama, country dancing and more.

Sally is the founder of NMTS. Having begun her performing career in 2000 she has been a professional stage performer for over 20 years in musical theatre and cabaret. In 2004 Sally began her film and tv career working as a supporting actress and later creating a film production company making short dramas and supporting Newport University students as a production consultant.

Leigh has been supporting Sally with her performing arts and teaching. He builds much of the sets required for shows and assists with audio and some choreographing during class. 

Having spent most of his work life in sales and finance Leigh is an ally when it comes to promoting NMTS and arranging finance for shows.
